The POPUPHOLDUP™ clips onto the nozzle stems of all major brands of fixed head pop-up sprinklers. The stems stay up even when the water is turned off! It’s a system designed to hold up multiple sprinkler nozzles at the same time to make routine maintenance of filters, nozzles and flushing a quick, easy, hands free job. The old way of sprinkler maintenance... First, turn on the sprinkler system and flag the heads that need repair. Then turn off the sprinkler and go back to the flagged heads. In order to find the sprinkler heads, you may have to dig around in the mud & grass and pull them up using pliers, a screwdriver or your fingers. You have to hold the stem with one hand and try to do the necessary repairs with your other hand. If the stem slips from your fingers, you have to start all over, which waste even more time! Also, flushing sprinkler lines works great while the water is on and being forced through the system, but once the water is turned off the stems drop down to ground level (or even lower). This allows dirt and mud to get back into the system since the sprinkler heads are off. That was the old way of doing it…. experience the new way! If your system needs flushing, just clip on multiple “POPUPHOLDUP™s”, remove the nozzles, turn on the system and let the water flow. The stems stay up out of the mud and are ready for the filters and nozzles to be replaced. The POPUPHOLDUP is a quality tool built in high-density polyethylene plastic. It is virtually indestructible and has no moving parts to rust or wear out. The tension adjustment screw is marine grade stainless steel and once it is adjusted to your brand of sprinkler will not need any further adjustment. If your company works on multiple brands of sprinklers, you can have a color-coded set for each brand or change the tension setting in the field to fit different brands.
